Anti-reflection always consists of a hard coating & anti-reflection. Actually, you can clearly see whether or not your sunglasses have anti-reflective lenses. Anti-reflection always leaves reflex; the reflex is the soft color that covers your lenses.

If your coating breaks down, the problem is always the hard coating. It can crack or chip. optoVision can give you a 3-year warranty, because we have very few coating problems.  There is a separate hardening liquid for each type of index (1.5; 1.6;...). The liquid that is made especially for index 1.5 lenses will not be absorbed as well in index 1.6 lenses or higher.  However, many manufacturers follow this rule to keep costs down. That can result in premature cracks in your coating. optoVision gives you the guarantee that we will make 1.5 hardening fluid for 1.5 indexes, 1.6 fluid for 1.6 index and so forth.

i-Protection® S

The i-Protection® S coating is our budget-friendly coating.

It consists of six different layers and has green reflex. This coating does not reflect blue light. 

Warranty = 3 years

i-Protection® S back

The i-Protection® S back is the same as the coatings described above, but there is one difference: this coating is added to the inside of the lens instead of on both sides.

This coating is often used for sunglasses.

i-Protection® Blue GT+

The i-Protection® Blue GT+ is comprised of 11 different layers, just like the NT+ and HT+. Together, they form the strongest coatings available in our product line.

There are some differences here as well: the Blue® GT+ has a blue aesthetic rest reflex. What’s more, these lenses reflect to about 420 nm of harmful blue light.

Since September 2020, the anti-reflection properties have been optimized thanks to continuous R&D (research and development). The result: glasses which are easier to clean, with a higher durability and longer life.

Warranty = 3 years

i-Protection® NT+

The i-Protection® NT+ has 11 layers and is significantly stronger than the i-Protection® S. They have the green reflex in common. 

These lenses also reflect harmful blue light up to 350 to 400 nm (depending on the selected index). 

Since September 2020, the anti-reflection properties have been optimized thanks to continuous R&D (research and development). The result: glasses which are easier to clean, with a higher durability and longer life.

Warranty = 3 years

i-Protection® Pure HT+

The i-Protection® Pure HT+ has 11 layers; thus it is of the same quality as the GT+ and NT+. 

The difference can be seen in the reflex, which is reduced to a minimum and almost invisible.
The lenses also reflect harmful blue light to a limited degree (just like the NT+) up to 350 to 400 nm (depending on the selected index).

Vision Company has already been powered by German optoVision for 10 years when it comes to lenses. We are their exclusive distributor for their high-technology lenses in the Belgian market.

optoVision was founded in 1979 and has developed a lot of expertise over the years. This expertise is evident to everyone. In 2016, optoVision has been elected over and over as the number 1 lens supplier of the biennial survey by 'markt intern' in Germany.

An internal market study compared 13 German lens suppliers based on 12 criteria. The German opticians gave 12 separate scores for each manufacturer. And that is how optoVision proudly accepted the title of the best lens manufacturer not just once, but four times in a row.

In 2017, optoVision consciously said ‘no’ to moving production to low-wage countries. No less than 6.000.000 euros were invested in production in Langen.
