Clarification
Do you have difficulty seeing nearby objects clearly, even though you can see objects far away with no problem? Do you have to squint or do your eyes get tired when reading? Does it get so bad at times that it gives you a headache?
This is completely normal. Your eyes are working continuously to see everything clearly, but they have to work incredibly hard to do so. In medical terms, we call this long-sightedness. You may also hear a doctor or eye doctor refer to it as hyperopia.
The solution?
You need single vision glasses, also referred to as reading glasses. These reading glasses will contain plus strength prescription lenses. See below to read all about the different types of single vision lenses.
